Privacy Notice

Aktira JEE (jee.aktira.app) is run by Aktira. This notice explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Browsing questions and solutions does not require an account.

What we collect

• Sign-in details: your email address or phone number, or the basic profile Google shares if you choose “Continue with Google” (name, email, profile picture). These stay private and are never shown publicly.
• Profile: the nickname you choose, whether you are a student, teacher, parent or other, your target JEE year (optional), and whether you are under 18.
• Practice activity: questions you mark as solved, doubt or important, worksheets and tests you create, your answers and scores, and badges you earn.
• Technical data: the session cookies needed to keep you logged in, and standard server logs from our hosting providers.

How we use it

• To log you in and keep your account secure.
• To save your progress, build your worksheets and tests, and award badges.
• To show leaderboards — these display nicknames only, never real names, emails or phone numbers.
• To improve the site and fix problems.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Students under 18

Many JEE aspirants are under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must read this notice and agree before you create an account. We collect only what is needed to run your practice account, we do not show under-18 users' real identities anywhere, and we do not profile children for advertising. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to review or delete their child's account.

Who handles your data

• Supabase — stores accounts and practice data.
• Netlify — hosts the website.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and practice data, except anything we are legally required to keep.

Your choices and rights

• See and update your profile from your account page.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account.
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
