A salt with few drops of conc. HCl gives apple green colour in flame test. The group precipitate of the salt is dissolved in acetic acid and treated with KX2CrOX4\ce{K2CrO4} to give yellow precipitate. When the sodium carbonate extract of the salt solution is heated with conc. HNOX3\ce{HNO3} and ammonium molybdate, it resulted in a canary yellow precipitate. The cation and anion present in the salt are respectively.
  1. (1)CaX2+\ce{Ca^2+} and SOX4X2−\ce{SO4^2-}
  2. (2)BaX2+\ce{Ba^2+} and POX4X3−\ce{PO4^3-}
  3. (3)MnX2+\ce{Mn^2+} and POX4X3−\ce{PO4^3-}
